QUANZA, is a Dutch-Surinamese artist, producer, guitarist, composer, and Musicologist. After hearing Jimi Hendrix for the first time, QUANZA began teaching himself how to play guitar at the age of thirteen. A few years later Flying Lotus had the same effect on him, which started his journey as an electronic music producer. His eclectic musical vocabulary resonates through his productions as he combines live instrumentation with electronic music. As a result, his music embodies Hip Hop produced, spiritual Jazz Rock.

His music has already attracted the likes of CARISTA, who asked him to contribute to the first release of the Utrecht based record label United identities' compilation album: 'Modern Intimacy'. His debut track 'A Death Supreme' on United Identities, gained early support by Louis Vuitton's music director Benji B who played it on BBC Radio 1.

Shortly after QUANZA released his first solo single 'Neon Noir' through United Identities. 'Neon Noir' quickly gained international airplay on radio stations like NTS Radio & WorldWide FM and received featured articles by MixMag and Patta. His music quickly grew to a million all-time streams on Spotify.

Being more than ready to enter the global music scene and determined to blow us away with all of his forthcoming musical endeavours: QUANZA is now set to release his Debut EP: "OPEN THE GATES" in 2024.
